This small felt gonger is lightweight and provides a less percussive sound when striking the bowl. The mallet head is firm yet forgiving inviting a balanced variety of sound. The grip and balance of this striker allows full control of the volume you are trying to achieve with both gongs and Himalayan singing bowls.
This small gonger is perfect for cast or hand hammered Himalayan singing bowls that are in between 3" to 7”.
The basic felt striker mallet is a high quality carved wooden handle with a 1.5" medium hard felt head. This lightweight mallet is convenient for use in cramped space and perfect for gong striking the bowl in an extremely light and gentle manner. Using this mallet on bowls that are resting on the body provides for the most gentle technique while bringing out strong vibrations from the bowl.
