This expanded Musical Mushroom Starter Kit pairs the innovative Musical Mushroom system with a designated 8" Frosted Crystal Vibes Singing Bowl intended to be activated through vibration and motion rather than traditional mallet playing. Together, they offer an immersive sound experience where tones emerge gradually and organically, without the need for constant manual interaction.
The Musical Mushroom unit works with the included bowl exciter to gently stimulate the bowl’s vibration. As resonance builds, layered harmonics unfold naturally, making this an engaging option for sound therapy sessions, meditation, experimentation, and creative sound exploration. The experience encourages deep listening and presence as sound evolves over time.
This kit includes everything needed to begin using the Musical Mushroom right out of the box, along with a 8" frosted crystal singing bowl of your preferred note and tuning selected to pair well with this system.
How It Works
The bowl exciter attaches to the crystal singing bowl using the included mounting disc. The Musical Mushroom senses movement and proximity, activating the exciter to stimulate the bowl’s vibration. Sound gradually builds and shifts in response to subtle changes in motion and positioning.

Compatibility & Important Notes
This product is designed for use with standard crystal singing bowls, including frosted, clear, and colored bowls commonly used in sound therapy and meditation practices.
It is not recommended for use with very thin-walled crystal singing bowls, as the exciter’s weight may dampen their vibration and the bowl height may interfere with the sensor. This product is also not intended for use with metal Himalayan singing bowls or gongs.
